We accept returns - but we ask that you consider your purchases. If you receive an item that's not quite right we can assist you with finding the right solution. To be eligible for a return, item(s) must meet the conditions of our returns policy

O N L I N E   O R D E R

This policy applies to all purchases made online at citizennomade.com  Please note that you will be required to pay for your shipping costs if you are in or outside of Australia and decide to return your order. Shipping costs are non-refundable and Citizen Nomade does not cover the cost of return shipping.

Purchases made in-store can be returned within 7 days from the original purchase date for an exchange, or credit note. We do NOT offer refunds for in-store purchases.

Orders placed with Afterpay are only eligible for a store credit or exchange;

F A U L T Y  /  D A M A G E D   R E T U R N S

If you have received a faulty or damaged item please reach out to customercare@citizennomade.com with your order number, images showing the fault and a small description. 

  • Item(s) are classified as faulty if they are received damaged, or where a manufacturing fault occurs within six months of purchase. Items damaged as a result of normal wear and tear, incorrect use or incorrectly washed, are not considered to be faulty or damaged.
  • Faulty or damaged items will need to be returned in an otherwise original condition. Once we have received the item we will assess the fault and reserve the right to repair or replace it. If the item is no longer in stock, you have the option of exchange, refund or credit note. 

F U L L   P R I C E D   I T E M S

  • Items that have been purchased at full price are eligible for a refund or store credit when returned to Citizen Nomade within 14 days of delivery. Please note, that we are unable to refund or credit the cost of shipping.

J E W E L L E R Y

  • All purchases of jewellery are final. Due to hygiene reasons, we will not accept returns for jewellery unless deemed faulty by our team.

P R O M O T I O N A L   I T E M S

  • Items that have been purchased during a promotion (e.g. FLASH SALE) are subject to promotional-specific return conditions. Please see below for specific terms and conditions.

  • Items that have been purchased from our SALE category are FINAL SALE and are not eligible for a return, exchange or store credit.

P R O M O T I O N A L   D I S C O U N T   C O D E S

  • From time to time Citizen Nomade may run special online sale offers that may involve applying a discount code. These promotional discount codes that have been advertised on the website through a homepage banner, eDM and Instagram socials are to be applied at checkout to receive the discount. To take advantage of this special promotional offer, you must apply the correct promotional discount code advertised at the checkout under “the gift card or discount code section and click the button “apply” to ensure this discount code has been applied to your order. Please note only one promotional code may be used per transaction. If a discount code states it has expired and is invalid, Citizen Nomade reserves the right to deny honouring this discount if the code is no longer valid. 

I N T E R N A T I O N A L   D U T I E S,   T A X E S,   &   C H A R G E S

  • Items in your order that are designated for shipment to countries outside of Australia may be subject to taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country ("Import Fees"). The recipient of the shipment is the importer of record in the destination country and is responsible for all Import Fees. Import Fees (including returns) for international shipments, if applicable, are charged to the customer. It is the responsibility of the customer to be aware of what import charges may be applicable in your country. Citizen Nomade does not have control over what these duties and tax charges are and suggests contacting your local DHL to be aware of any charges that may occur when receiving orders from Australia.
  • Please note if you paid import duties or taxes on an item and would like a credit invoice to provide to your customs office please contact customercare@citizennomade.com

R E F U S I N G   A   S H I P M E N T

  • If you refuse a shipment from Citizen Nomade or refuse to pay any duties and taxes, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any Import Fees that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to Citizen Nomade. This amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund. Citizen Nomade will not cover any duties and tax charges that may occur.

D I G I T A L   G I F T   C A R D S 

  • Digital gift cards purchased online are sent to the email address provided on the order as digital gift cards. Digital gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be returned or cancelled.

F I N A L   S A L E

  • Item/s marked as "final sale - no returns or exchanges" cannot be returned. If merchandise is returned despite this policy, items will be sent back to you at an additional charge;

R E F U N D S 

  • Refunds will be credited back to the original form of payment, excluding any shipping costs or additional charges, including customs, duties or sales taxes. Any conversion loss will not be covered within the refund process. You will receive an email notification of the status of your refund once finalised. 

S T O R E   C R E D I T S   &   E X C H A N G E S 

  • Returns for a store credit or exchange can be processed via our returns portal. Store Credit will be issued upon receipt of your returned item. All exchanges are subject to stock availability, if an item is no longer available you will be notified via email.
